Job Title: Senior Asset Management Administrator

Responsibilities of the Senior Asset Management Administrator
McLane Advanced Technologies is seeking to hire a Senior Asset Management Administrator to support a Department of Energy (DOE) contract in Albuquerque, NM or Oak Ridge, TN.

The Senior Asset Management Administrator will:

• Coordinate version upgrades and testing phases, ensuring compatibility and system functionality.
• Develop testing plans and identify focus groups for pilot testing of system upgrades.
• Manage system security settings, including user authentication and access permissions.
• Create and maintain user group templates for controlled access to system features and reports.
• Scrub data periodically to correct inconsistencies, errors, and missing entries.
• Develop and maintain data standards documentation for consistent data entry across all fields.
• Create and update support and user guides to facilitate system usage.
• Assist users and management in developing procedures, processes, and workflows within the software framework.
• Identify and isolate difficult or ambiguous issues within the system.
• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify database anomalies and transaction failures.
• Collaborate with users and vendor developers to resolve system issues promptly.
• Coordinate development efforts between the asset management vendor and RFID vendors for seamless integration.
• Ensure functionality aligns with RFID infrastructure implementation goals.
• Utilize Crystal Reports and other reporting tools to generate custom reports and analytics.
• Analyze system logs and database views to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience working with FleetFocus or similar COTS software.
• Strong understanding of database management and SQL scripting.
• Proficiency in Crystal Reports development and customization.
• Experience with system security models and access control mechanisms.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience in coordinating with external vendors for system enhancements.
• Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certificate is preferred.
• Active DOE or DOD Security Clearance
