Founded in 2004, Drayton McLane, Jr. established McLane Advanced Technologies with the idea of creating a solution specifically for the U.S. Army. From there, he pulled together a decorated and seasoned group of individuals to develop the strategy and set the direction for the company. The executives tapped to lead the various business units also bring substantial industry specific experience with a priority of executing the strategy under the McLane values.

General Leon J. LaPorte
U.S. ARMY (RET.)
General LaPorte served thirty-eight years in the U.S. Army as a highly decorated combat veteran of both the Vietnam and Gulf wars, with command experience as Commander of U.S. Forces Korea. General LaPorte has also served as a member of the AAFES Board of Directors.

Former Director of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), he also served as the Commander of the Naval Supply Systems Command after numerous sea duty tours and commands.
Lieutenant General William E. Mortensen
U.S. ARMY (RET.)
Following his graduation from Montana State University with a BS in Finance in 1973, General Mortensen was commissioned initially as an Infantry officer, followed by a transfer to the Transportation Corps following completion of his combat arms branch detail. General Mortensen later completed his Masters in Business Administration at Boston University and also graduated from the Army War College in Carlisle, PA.

General Schwartz's command experience spans the full spectrum from company command to Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Forces Korea. He serves as the Senior Advisor of the McLane Advanced Technologies' Senior Advisory Group. He remains fully committed to superior customer service and soldier support.
